Salters Scene: U.N. and Parley for the Oceans Launch Event

On Monday June 29th, President of the General Assembly of the United Nations and Parley For The Oceans held the Parley Talks session under the title of “Oceans. Climate. Life.” at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The event brought together people from a cross section of backgrounds from fashion, art, entertainment, sports to science and environmentalism.

We saw a number of notables arriving such as Cyrill Gutsch, founder of Parley for the Oceans, Eric Liedtke Executive Board Member Global Brands adidas Group, NFL Quarterback Robert Griffin III, Model and DJ Alexandra Richards, Violinst Caitlin Moe, Model Rasika Navare, Model Hailey Clauson,  DJ May Kwok, Model Kelly Gale, Model Eden Amare, Jewelry designer Ann Dexter, Filmmaker Louie Psihoyos, Editor-in-Chief for the travel magazine AHotelLife.com Ben Pundole, Green Chemistry co-founder John C. The main part of the evening was a 60-Minute Parley Talk where leading environmentalists, creatives, scientists and entrepreneurs give a briefing on the State of the Oceans, Climate Change and human existence on this planet.
