December 22, 2016

It’s baa-ack! Come celebrate the rich tradition of black comix in our 5th annual Black Comic Book Festival, which for the first time will be TWO days! Featuring panel discussions, film screenings, cosplay, and exhibit tables with premiere black comic creators from across the country, this extravaganza will be bigger and better than ever!

The event connects comic readers, creators, bloggers, nerds, independent publishers, and collectors of all ages, and is presented by festival co-founders Deirdre Hollman (Director of Education and The Junior Scholars Program), Jerry Craft (Mama’s Boyz), and John Jennings (Black Kirby/UC Riverside).
