On Labor Day, Monday, September 5th, 2016, Seitu Oronde was at the 46th Anniversary West Indian Day Parade (which was started in Harlem) in Jamiaca, New York.

The event was attended by Harlem Melissa Mark-Viverito, Rev. Al Sharpton, Scott Stringer, Mayor Bill de Blasio, other electeds, resents and participants.
