NY Daily News reports that the fugitive gunman wanted in the Times Square slaying of an unarmed Harlem man opened fire instantly when the victim intervened in a fight between two women, cops said Friday.
Shooter Christopher Revis “didn’t give this guy a chance,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said of murder victim Persues Salichs. “He pulled a gun and shot point blank.”
The bearded Revis, wearing a purple jacket, was seen on video walking north on Seventh Ave. and then east on 49th St. as a bleeding Salichs lay dying on the sidewalk behind him.
Salichs, 32, a father of three girls, was gunned down around 4 a.m. Tuesday as he left a holiday party at the popular Midtown bar Tonic.

Police were offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of Revis.
The suspected shooter apparently knew the two feuding women, while Salich was hanging out with some co-workers from a Buffalo Wild Wings outlet in Harlem before his slaying.
