Soho Mugger From Harlem Busted After Mom ID’s Him

He was making money mugging SoHo subway commuters by putting a cloth over their faces — but he couldn’t pull the wool over his own mother’s eyes.

Cops arrested Kevin Williams, 34, after his mother recognized him in a surveillance video released by cops asking the public’s help cracking the case. The mother told a friend, who went to police, sources said.

Williams, who lives in a Harlem shelter, is accused of robbing two women while covering their faces with the creepy cloth. There were no harmful substances on the cloth.

He was picked up by cops Thursday.
