17 Year old, R&B Entertainer, and Davidson, North Carolina native, Khalil ‘KJ’ Johnson releases his official debut single “Wanna Do (Caught in the Matrix)” featuring Rich Cole. The song was produced by Cool Ruck based in Atlanta, GA. and co-written by KJ himself. The single dropped 2/28/14 and the music video will be released late March 2014 all through CREATE.Digital Music / INgrooves-Fontana. The music video was shot in Los Angeles, CA. by Marco Curiel of Mac Motions under the direction of Charles “La” Colemen II of ABiatorz Films and Assistant Director / Manager Amilcar ‘PRO’ Welton of CREATE.Digital Music.

“Wanna Do (Caught in the Matrix)” is an R&B/Pop record with EDM undertones that provides an entertaining, catchy, dramatic feel true to the sub-title “Caught in the Matrix.” KJ’s voice is high quality and doesn’t depend on the current over use of auto-tune accept where it’s relevant which is on the chorus. The content is attractive to a wide demographic but will be very appealing to females, ages 13-18, because of the lyrical focus on youthful attraction.

KJ and this record is a great alternative to the sometimes inappropriate, low quality, adult content forced on our younger consumers musically today.
