Starbucks Rolls Out ‘Starbucks For Life’ Contest

December 14, 2015

starbucks-for-life-600Can’t get enough caffeine in Harlem? Starbucks would like to help you out. The brand has rolled out its second annual “Starbucks for Life” contest, which technically awards winners one free Starbucks beverage or food product a day for the next 30 years.

Still, 30 years of free Starbucks is a pretty good deal. This year, though, only seven folks will win, compared with last year’s 14, GrubStreet notes. Additional prizes include 25 winners who get free Starbucks for one year, 150 who drink free for a month and 500 who get free goodies for a full week. It’s not a huge expense to Starbucks—the estimated worth of the grand prize is $54,275.

Cardholders must visit starbucksforlife.com, where purchases can get them holiday-themed game pieces that they in turn play on a board for chances to win the prizes. Game pieces include mistletoe, a yeti, a poodle-reindeer, a nutcracker, a kitten and more.

According to the official rules:

When a My Starbucks Rewards® member pays for their purchase in participating US and Canada stores using a registered card or the Starbucks Mobile App, he or she receives one game play. The member then goes to starbucksforlife.com and logs in using their My Starbucks Rewards® credentials to play the game for the chance to win instant prizes, like bonus stars, or a game piece to place on their game board for the chance to win Starbucks for a day, a week, a month or a lifetime.
