2 Al’s, 1 Pat And 1 Planet

No we’re not getting paid for this commercial, but we thought it is a great metaphor for the kind of collaborative work we can being doing together in Harlem to make it a better place. This ad is part of the “We Can Solve It” global warming ad campaign sponsored by former Vice President Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection. While Harlem’s Reverend Al Sharpton and Pat Robertson have different views on most issues, when it comes to the urgency of protecting the planet, they agree.

As we move into the ninth year of the 21st Century, a new campaign We Can Solve It has been created to help us understand the part we play. The We Campaign is a project of The Alliance for Climate Protection — a nonprofit, nonpartisan effort founded by Nobel laureate and former Vice President Al Gore. Their ultimate aim is to halt global warming. They are educating people in the US and around the world that the climate crisis is both urgent and solvable. Here’s what the former Vice President had to say on July 17, in WashingtonD.C.:
