DYCD Skate Day

iceskating1.jpgHundreds of young participants in New York City ’s Out-of-School Time (OST), Beacon Community Centers and Teen ACTION initiatives took to the ice at The Pond at Bryant Park for the third annual “DYCD Skate Day.”  The Pond donated skate rentals and refreshments.  DYCD Skate Day is a fun reminder that the Department of Youth and Community Development afterschool programs operate throughout the summer and on school holidays, including the winter break.
