Opening Of New 103rd Street Community Garden With Bette Midler


Bette Midler’s New York Restoration Project (NYRP) and Disney announced today that a newly renovated Community Garden and playground will be officially opened at 105 East 103rd Street in East Harlem from 5PM – 7PM, with a ribbon cutting at 6:15PM.

Hamilton Grange Garden Unveiled

The National Park Service (NPS) and Hamilton Grange National Memorial will unveil design plans for the community garden at the former site of Alexander Hamilton’s home, 287 Convent Avenue, on March 3 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Convent Avenue Baptist Church, 425 W. 144th Street at Convent Avenue (flyer attached).
The plans are the result of collaboration between the National Park Foundation’s First Bloom program, PS 153, the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem, the Horticultural Society of New York and the NPS.
