Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 kicked off with Fashion Night Out on Thursday September 10th. Fashion Night Out gave retailers around the city a reason to extend their normal business hours in the name of fashion. The idea was to create a buzz going into Fashion Week. Entertainers, fashion designers, socialites and fashionatisas scurried about the city.
Music and Electronics store J&R Music World in downtown Manhattan, got in on the fashion bandwagon. Model Carol Alt signed copies of her books Model, Inc and This Year’s Model upstairs, while Chico Debarge sang songs from his latest CD Addiction downstairs. Continue reading
