Harlem Stabber Killer Sought

Cops released this photo of the suspect in the fatal stabbing of Juan Benito at about 8:25 p.m. Friday in front of 1553 St. Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights.

Benito, 26, was found stabbed in the thigh and was DOA at Harlem Hospital; he lived at 562 West 173rd Street. Police described the suspect as a medium-built black man about 45 years old with a short salt-and-pepper beard. Continue reading →

Fatal stabbing after pool fight

A fight at an East Harlem pool spilled out onto the street last night, leaving one man stabbed to death, cops and sources said.

Arron McMillon, 25, of East Harlem, was found just after 7 p.m. lying on First Avenue near East 117th Street with deep cuts to his stomach, according to police reports. Continue reading →

Police Arrest Harlem Video Stabber

Murder charges have come in the stabbing death of a nine-year-old New Jersey boy.

His adult cousin in now in custody, accused of killing the child – over a video game.

Police say 25-year-old Alejandro Morales stabbed his nine-year-old cousin, Anthony Maldonado, over a video game. Morales was placed under arrest at the 26th Precinct stationhouse, but that is no consolation to the young boy’s mother.

Maldonado’s mother, Dolores Juela, is heartbroken and confused, unable to make sense of the shocking stabbing death of her son.
