Jay-Z & The Smith’s Start New Joint Venture!

Jay-Z, Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith were at Radio City Music Hall last night as nominees at the 64th annual Tony Awards. The triumvirate’s play, Fela! was nominated in 11 categories including Best Musical. Although the production took home three
trophies, it lost the top honor to Memphis. Better luck next

Salters Scene: Fela! On Broadway Original Cast Recording Release Party

On Monday June 7, cast members of the Broadway hit Fela! were in the mix at Brooklyn Bowl for the official Fela! On Broadway Original Cast Recording Release Party presented by the Knitting Factory.  The two individuals who have taken on the huge responsibility of bringing Fela Anikulapo-Kuti to life in the play, Tony Award Nominated Sahr Ngaujah and Kevin Mambo were front and center greeting and mingling with guests.  Cast members Iris Wilson and Tony Award Nominated Lillias White also joined in the festivities early on saying hello to everyone and posing for pictures.
