This day in age many vocalists sing for the sake of filling their pockets, but gospel singer Niyoki White has something else in mind. “I want to inspire others through my singing and see God’s power through it,” stated Niyoki. This rising gospel star who sings on her own label, D2G records, has already sold 15,000 copies of her 2006 CD entitled My Everything, an impressive feat for someone signed to an independent record label. With her second CD, Rest, Niyoki hopes to provide something spiritually uplifting to all Harlemites.
