Tuesday night Harlem Lanes was the spot! Super Bowl Champion, NFL All-Pro Running Back from the Pittsburgh Steelers and serious bowler Jerome “The Bus” Bettis brought his bowling ball and game to Harlem Lanes.

A Night of Bowling with Jerome Bettis was a fundraising event for 100 Black Men – a not-for-profit organization that aims to improve the quality of life within the community and enhance educational and economic opportunities.

Harlemite and Event Chair Mark Smith of 100 Black Men led the team that organized this successful and fun event.  Harlem Lanes CEO Sharon Joseph and New York Giants’ Super Bowl Champion Ottis Jerome Anderson, both laced up their bowling shoes in support of the event. Word around the campfire is Sharon’s and Ottis’ games could use a touch-up.

However, it was not about competition on this night.  With DJ Jon Quick holding down the music, an open bar at the ready, it was all about good people, having a good time for a good cause.
