This album is by far one of jazz trombonist and Harlem resident Wycliffe Gordon’s best musical achievements. He captures the essence of Armstrong through his singing and featured trumpet solos. This is his first effort on a solo recording to play trumpet as much or more than trombone, and he has hit a home-run all the way!
