It is regrettable, as this late date, that we must cancel our appearance at the Harlem Book Fair. Unfortunately, we are unable to exhibit as the Hue-Man Central Book Nook as we originally negotiated so we will not exhibit at all. But don’t forget in honor of the Book Fair that there will be a one Day 15% (20%) for Hue-Man Member SALE on July 17th.

“Black Pain” at Hue-Man

On June 21, Terrie Williams will be holding a signing for her book, Black Pain at Hue-Man bookstore from 6-8pm. Ms. Williams has taken her own experience and put it into a narrative for the community. Terri Williams knew that Black people were suffering, because she suffered herself.Terri had launched her own public relations company with celebrity clients like Eddie Murphy and Johnnie Cochran, but was suffering with constant pain and terror.

She was the Laura Carnell Professor of English and Women’s Studies at Temple University until her retirement and is one of the most important writers of the Black Arts Movement. She is the author of thirteen books.
