Walter Rutledge, senior arts and culture editor of HW’s Walters World will host a series of behind-the-scenes conversation about The 35th Commemorative Year of The Thelma Hill Performing Arts Center.

The annual Souls Of Our Feet People of Color Dance Festival is a five-day dance celebration has been aptly named Thirty5-in-5 and will present thirty-five dance companies and artists.

Debt-free Living Is Key To Power Harlem

When I was a child, I always wondered how an ocean liner could fit on my street. Never mind that a ship needed water. I lived on a small street in a small town in northern New Jersey and my father would constantly make reference to a time when his ship would come in. I later learned that this was a figure of speech that described a future time when our family’s financial resources would increase.
