Salters Scene: Queen Latifah and the Steel Magnolias Crew At the Paris Theatre

On Wednesday October 3rd, Queen Latifah and the cast of the Steel Magnolias remake were at the Paris Theatre in midtown Manhattan for the premiere of the Lifetime movie. The cast includes Queen Latfiah, Jill Scott, Phylicia Rashad, Alfre Woodard, Adepero Oduye and Condola Rashad.

It was a very festive night and good time to celebrate.   There were a lot of hurdles that were jumped for this movie’s Lifetime October 7th showing.  With the challenges behind them, the cast was able to enjoy making their appearance on the red carpet.

Condola showed up with her father Ahmad Rashad. Queen Latifah attended with her mother Rita Owens. Alfre Woodard attended with her Husband Roderick Spencer.  Besides cast members, Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition Judges Abby Lee Miller and Robin Antin walked the carpet and Singer Keri Hilson was there to show her support for this fantastic cast.

Keri Goes Motown After Leaving Uptown

Keri Hilson stopped by The Late Show With David Letterman last night, wearing a Diana Ross–inspired gown with a plunging neckline and feathered trim — a departure from her look a few weeks ago when she was in Harlem at Jimmy Jazz and Aloft Hotel with her typically edgy style. She topped off the look by teasing her hair into a bouffant and piling on the eyeliner.

Harlem On The 2010 AMA Red Carpet (video)!

Harlem superstar Diddy and Dirty Money lit up the red carpet at Sunday’s American Music Awards at the NOKIA Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. Diddy opted for a more toned-down, all black outfit with high top boots, while the Dirty Money ladies went all out in a flashy neon blue dresses of black leather arm and shoulder accents that grabbed everyone’s attention.
