For a century, historic Church of the Intercession (Broadway at West 155th Street) in Washington Heights has welcomed Christmas with the reading of Clement Clarke Moore’s beloved poem, ’Twas The Night Before Christmas. On Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 4:00 PM, during a candlelight service with carols, actor Malik Yoba will invite children to gather around and listen as he recites this classic holiday verse. This will mark the 100th Anniversary of the reading at Church of the Intercession. Continue reading
