Being an African American, exercising the right to vote holds importance to my life due to the blood, sweat and tears my ancestors fought for. Harlem Rep. Rangel Backs Thompson!

At a news conference, the veteran Harlem congressman praised Thompson for his “outstanding ability to reach everyone in the streets.”

“He truly represents our great city from river to river,” Rangel said.
