NBA Star passes at 47

Manute Bol, the 7’7″ Sudanese who was a shot-blocking sensation with the Washington Bullets and other teams has died at 47. He passed in Charlottesville of complications from Stevens-Johnson syndrome. He had kidney failure, internal bleeding and other medical complications. Mr. Bol was the only NBA player who could say he had killed a lion with a spear. He came to the United States of America in the early 1980s and did one year of college basketball before joining the Washington Bullets. Continue reading
