Work on Hamilton Grange National Memorial continues both on the inside and outside of the historic home.

As the restoration progresses, the painstaking work of carefully pulling back the layers of paint and plaster to reach the original “fabric” of the building has provided clues to the original appearance of the Grange’s
interior, including that not all of the rooms were painted. The entryway was left with just its plaster finish, while the dinning room appears to have been painted with a soft yellow.
