Roy Ayers, Jazz Mafia Symphony and Local Music Programs Performing at SummerStage

On June 30, 2011 the Harlem School of the Arts (HSA) will host a Jazz intensive with legendary musician Roy Ayers, San Francisco ’s Jazz Mafia Symphony, and several local music programs.  The two-day event includes master classes, workshops, and an open rehearsal on Friday, July 1 at 6pm.  The Jazz intensive will culminate with the students, Roy Ayers and Jazz Mafia performing at SummerStage on Central Park ’s Mainstage on Saturday, July 2 at 7pm.
