El Museo del Barrio Grand Opening

El Museo del Barrio reopened its doors on October 17, 2009.  We had wanted to go for a long time, but it had closed for renovations.  For the grand re-opening, there was live music playing, story telling, flag making workshop, book reading, history of salsa, and a presentation of clips from Soledad O’Brien for her upcoming Latino In America documentary on CNN.  It was very exciting and fun to be there.
