Fifteen people were injured today in a collision that involved a city bus, an ambulance and two other vehicles.
It happened at 125th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard in Harlem.
Police say a black Acura with North Carolina plates hit the ambulance, which was heading eastbound, responding to a call.
The ambulance careened into an SUV waiting at a red light and then into an M100 bus, which was also parked. Continue reading

A beloved Harlem woman was mowed down early Monday by a hit-and-run driver who hit her so hard he knocked her out of her shoes, police said.
Debbie Evans, 48, was struck by a speeding SUV at 3:10 a.m. as she tried to cross Amsterdam Ave. near W. 145th St., police said.
The impact – which knocked Evans out of her shoes – instantly killed the mother of two, police said. Continue reading
