Hollywood to Harlem: Vera Moore

You may remember her face–she was an actress on the popular soap opera “Another World” for twelve years. For a long time, Vera Moore sat down in the makeup chair on set and came up unsatisfied. As the only Black cast member, the show’s makeup artists’ didn’t really have products that flattered her: “They did the best they could, which wasn’t very good,” said Moore.
