Athletes, by nature, answer questions in as dull a fashion as possible. It’s difficult to blame them for this. Athletes are constantly berated by reporters for giving boring quotes, but the minute they say something interesting or provocative, they’re torn apart for it. Rex Ryan Buries Monday Night Massacre

For two reasons, New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan buried the game ball from the Jets’ Monday night shaming at the hands of the Patriots.

First, it was a symbolic gesture. Ryan’s sending the message to his team that the 45-3 loss is done. It’s forgotten. History. It no longer exists. With it buried, the team can move on, starting this week with a game against the Dolphins. Continue reading →

Randy “Hair” Moss And Tom “Bieber” Brady Have a Pat Fight

Before he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings, Randy Moss got into a hair fight with Tom Brady about, all of things, his facial hair.

According to Charley Casserly of CBS, Brady and Moss had a verbal altercation before the trade and that the pair had to be separated. During the spat, Tom “Bieber” Brady told his receiver to shave his beard. Moss responded that Brady should cut his Bieber, because he looks like the NFL’s first female quarterback. “Hell, he knows we hate the Patriots so what’s the difference?” Jets coach Rex Ryan said in response Monday. “That’s great. Hey, join the club.”
