New Clinical Dean at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem

Touro College has announced the appointment of Kenneth J. Steier, DO, as clinical dean at the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine(TouroCOM).

Columbia & Tour Presidents’ Pay $1 M In ’08, Study Says

Columbia University President Lee Bollinger was the Ivy League’s highest-paid president in 2008 at $1.75 million in total compensation, as 30 college leaders received more than $1 million in pay. Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania joined Columbia as Ivy League schools paying their top executive more than $1 million, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education. “The Faces of Urban Health” At Touro in Harlem

To foster interaction between members of the urban health community in its efforts to address health inequities, the Touro College of Pharmacy is hosting an innovative, free, two-day forum entitled “The Faces of Urban Health.”

The forum, to be held on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010 at the College, located at 230 W. 125th St. in Harlem, will bring together community advocates, organizations and academics involved in urban health and social research to exchange ideas and information, as well as provide an opportunity to network with others doing similar work in the field of urban health.
