Everything’s Coming Up Roses At The 2nd Annual Heritage Rose Foundation Celebration In Harlem

For the 2 year anniversary celebration, there will be a kicking off of the “Season of 1000 Roses” – with a goal to add 1000 additional heritage roses to Harlem by April 2012. There will also be the soft launch of the mobile walking tour, and a brief walking tour of the first phase of the tour will take place. Coyote Captured in Harlem

One wily coyote traveled a bit too far from home, and its resulting adventure through Harlem had alarmed residents doing a double take and scampering to get out of it’s way Wednesday morning. Police say frightened New Yorkers reported the coyote sighting around 9:30 a.m., and an emergency service unit was dispatched to find the animal.  Continue reading
