The Art Hand Embroidery Workshop At Morris-Jumel Mansion

aefb0fcd-9acf-4c53-9d24-a5fe4d1bf9a8Explore the vintage embroidery collection of the Morris-Jumel Mansion as you learn basic hand embroidery stitches from quilt and mixed media artist Laura R. Gadson. Learn decorative stitches as you create colorful patterns which can be used to embellish home accessories and clothing. No experience necessary. All levels welcome. Early or onsite registration required for either the 11 a.m. or 12 p.m. session.

Ms. Gadson is currently one of the featured artist in The Fabric of Emancipation on exhibit at the Morris-Jumel Mansion through October 3, 2016.
