chef huda in harlemOur friends at Interactive One, the fastest growing and definitive digital platform for African American, multiracial and Millennial audiences, today announced the launch of “The Kitchen Table” a new digital content series sponsored by Coca-Cola.

The cooking series lives on iOne’s flagship digital property aimed at women, HelloBeautiful.com, with 60-second vignettes also appearing on TV One.  In addition, the content will be promoted on the iOne social channels to easily enable moms to share it across their social networks.

The series celebrates the spirit of the Kitchen Table—The Kitchen Table is anywhere you join family or friends to share a meal and a moment—it embodies the spirit of good food, good drinks and good times.

“We are pleased to announce this project with Coca-Cola and excited to see how our audience reacts to it,” said Katina Lee Miller, Senior Director, Integrated Marketing, Interactive One. “Each video in this series is engaging, fun, heartfelt and really shows how Coke can be paired seamlessly with any dish.”

“The Kitchen Table” is hosted by Chef Huda and features celebrity moms Tisha Campbell Martin and Holly Robinson Peete, who share their favorite family-friendly and delicious recipes with moms everywhere. Each talent demonstrates how to make her special dish from “Holly Waaaaaangs” to mini pizzas and mac & cheese cupcakes. These dishes were chosen because of a personal connection—some were passed down from their grandmothers and others are just favorites of friends and family.  These recipes work well no matter what time of day you’re gathering around the table; whether it be for a weeknight dinner, an afterschool snack or party finger food.

Here’s a teaser perfect for NY Giants or Jets Sunday with Holly Wang’s:

This project culminated with a “Meet Us at the Table” event, held at the legendary Red Rooster in Harlem where tastemakers and influencers created their own Kitchen Table moments while sampling Marcus Samuelson’s recreations of Chef Huda, Tisha and Holly’s meals. Brooklyn artist Sylvia Maier was tasked with creating an original piece of art inspired by the series.  Maier’s art was displayed for the first time at the Red Rooster. The evening was filmed and serves as part of “The Kitchen Table” series.

“The Kitchen Table” destination is live today and can be found here http://hellobeautiful.com/category/the-kitchen-table/.   In addition to how-to videos and recipes, the featured Coke content also includes profiles and articles. All video content was produced by OneX – the branded content studio recently launched by iOne parent company Radio One, Inc.
