Located at 400 West 113th Street, Enclave at the Cathedral features 430 residences in two 15-story rental towers situated upon the grounds of The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine.

“We were drawn to Morningside Heights because of its residential nature that is rich in history and architecture.  It is surrounded by parks and has access to great local shops and amenities,” said Dean Amro, a principal at The Brodsky Organization. “For our building, Enclave at the Cathedral, we worked hand-in-hand with Handel Architects to develop a building that respects the renowned architecture of The Cathedral of St. John the Divine and also offers additional public green space to the community.  We also worked with local businesses and community groups to stimulate the local economy and enrich the existing community.”

Designed by Handel Architects, Enclave at the Cathedral offers studio, one- and two-bedroom residences.  The façade and interiors of Enclave at the Cathedral were  thoughtfully crafted to compliment the Cathedral’s architecture.  The façade is composed of a series of articulating structural concrete ribs derived from the Cathedral’s Gothic-inspired buttresses that echo the muted grey tones found in the Cathedral’s limestone. Interiors of both towers are outfitted in meditative white and grey tones to further complement the Cathedral.

Each apartment at Enclave at the Cathedral is outfitted with contemporary fixtures, exposed stainless steel appliances and five-inch wide oak plank flooring found throughout the living areas, kitchens and walk-in closets. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide residents with ample natural light, intimate views of the Cathedral and unmatched views of Morningside Park and New York City.

Kitchens are designed as the focal meeting space of the apartment and feature stainless steel Blomberg appliances, Grohe pullout sink faucets and custom cabinetry. Bathrooms provide the modern city dweller with a soothing place to relax, with pure white quartzite countertops, porcelain grey flooring, full-height tiled showers and elegant Grohe fixtures.

Enclave at the Cathedral residents are treated to over 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities designed to create a true sense of community within the building. The two towers are connected by an indoor art gallery, which will feature a rotating selection of local artwork. Additional indoor amenities include a game room, screening room, curated café, state of the art fitness center and parking garage. Outdoor amenities include two roof decks with views of the city, Morningside Park and The Close as well as a landscaped terrace with outdoor television.

Enclave at the Cathedral is within walking distance to Columbia University and Barnard College, Morningside Park and Central Park. The neighborhood offers an eclectic mix of retailers, restaurants, bars, cafes and cultural venues. The towers are a quick walk to multiple transportation options including the 1, 2, 3, A, B, C and D subway lines.
