Call for submissions/Uptown Arts Stroll Poster Contest
Deadline: Friday, February 21, 5pm
Community residents will vote for the official 2014 Uptown Arts Stroll Poster on Monday, March 10, 6-8pm at The Malcolm X & Dr. Betty Shabazz Center, 3940 Broadway at West 165th Street. The event is free with complimentary refreshments and hors d’eouvres. We will have OPEN MIC. Interested performers please send email nomaaprog@nomaanyc.org
Llamada para diseñar el afiche del Paseo de las Artes del Alto Manhattan
Animamos a que Artistas en Washington Heights-Inwood presenten su diseño para el concurso del afiche oficial para el Paseo de las Artes 2014. El artista ganador recibirá un cheque de $500 y su diseño tendrá exclusividad gráfica durante el Paseo de las Artes en junio. Visite www.nomaanyc.org para obtener las pautas.
La comunidad podrá votar para elegir el diseño ganador del afiche en un evento público el lunes 10 de marzo, 6-8 pm en el The Malcolm X & Dr.. Betty Shabazz Center, 3940 Broadway en la calle 165 Oeste. El evento es gratuito y se ofrecerá refrigerios y refrescos. Tendremos “micrófono abierto” y los artistas interesados deben enviar un correo electrónico a: nomaaprog@nomaanyc.org
