Uptown’s Rodriguez Elected Co-Chair Of NYC Council Black, Latino, & Asian Caucus

The Office of NYC Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez issued the following statement on the Council Member Election as Co-Chair of the NYC Council Black, Latino, and Asian Caucus (BLAC).

“Yesterday, I was elected as a Co-Chair of the Black, Latino, and Asian Caucus (BLAC) together with my colleague and Co-Chair I. Daneek Miller. I look forward to leading the Caucus in achieving its mission “to protect, advocate for and empower all residents and communities of color in New York City through legislation, public policy, and funding.” It is an honor to represent a group of hardworking leaders who embody the diversity of cultures and life stories that make our city great and are committed to improving the lives of New Yorkers”.
