Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works Open In Harlem

April 5, 2017

The angels are coming to Harlem. Harlem shoppers can rejoice as the nabe is getting its first Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works stores in a new building under construction at 112 W. 125 St. — right next to Whole Foods.

The new additions, owned by L Brand, will share 36,000 square feet on the entire ground, lower level and second floor of the project.

The lease was signed with Abe Feldman of Rockfeld Group, which is developing the property. He did not return calls for comment.

“It’s one of the uses lacking in Harlem and this is a good fit, because its well-known and addresses all the price points,” said Faith Hope Consolo of Douglas Elliman. “It’s exciting and game-changer for Harlem. No matter what people, buy lipstick and body products.”

According to CoStar, the asking rent for the ground floor was $250 per square foot, with occupancy planned for the fall of 2017.

While the company has several stores in Manhattan, including its new one at 640 Fifth Ave., it has nothing else above 86th Street on the East Side or 85th and Broadway on the West Side.

The company did not respond to a request for comment prior to press time.
