With Spring around the corner, sightseeing is your thing, take this romantic Autumn swing . It’s a straight shot north on the NY-9A Henry Hudson Highway from Harlem north to George Washington Bridge towards New Jersey to exit 74 Palisade Parkway to one of the largest in the USA at the Palisades Mall (1000 Palisades Center Drive) in West Nyack, New York www.palisadescenter.com.

Okay, you’re back on the road, now go further north on the I-87 N to the Taconic Parkway to one of the best upscale eateries in Nyack at Wasabi Chi (1110 Main street) www.wasabichi.com. The Japanese American Fusion menu, with the sushi bar in the main dining room is more than worth the ride.
Next, it’s Newburgh, New York (in Orange County), straight up Rt 9-W to 218-N, watch it, the wonderful views are breathtaking. Travel a bit more, it’s a can’t be missed stop at West Point www.usma.edu, with its proud history and fine dining you’ll be surprised by the experience.
Drive a few miles north on Rt-18 to the NY-213 for one of the most wonderful waterfront experiences in the historic city of Kingston, NY. Visit the galleries, take a walk on the wildlife side and get your feet wet in the Hudson River www.kingston-ny.gov/content/120/124/default.aspx#Bay. End with your reservation with that special someone at the Bell Inn (www.belsinn.com) bed and breakfast built in 1856 and update in 2010.
