March 14, 2017

On Tuesday, March 21st, 2017, at 7pm at the Masters Building, 310 Riverside, the West 102nd & 103rd Streets Block Association will provide a forum for you to engage with two persons who influence our quality of life:

  • The new Captain of the 24th Precinct, William Burke
  • Virl Andrick, the President of “Friends of Straus Park”

In addition, there will be an announcement about the upcoming Earth Day Spring Planting event scheduled for April 22, 2017 an announcement about the upcoming Riverside Park bench dedication in honor of our block association founders Cherie and Len Tredanari an update on the natural gas line currently being noisily installed on West End Avenue along with a time line for its completion.

The Board of Directors will be nominated and approved along with a call for volunteers to join us, especially as two existing board members have chosen to step down this year, leaving us short-handed.
