A Wooden Frame House On 108th Street In Harlem, NY 1932 (Photograph)

November 17, 2017

A wonderful Victorian style wooden house by photographer Charles Von Urban at 127 West 108th Street in South Harlem, New York in 1932.

This early Harlem house was a 18th century four-story (almost five including a basement) building crowned with a Manard roof, trimmed in dark and lights surfaces, and a great porch. The little wood frame house is surrounded by a number of apartment complexes looking north left and right towards 109th Street.
