The Trust For Public Land And NY Road Runners Announce Partnership At Harlem School

mighty-milers-in-harlem1The Trust for Public Land and the NY Road Runners are announcing a partnership to build student-designed playgrounds in New York City with a ceremonial groundbreaking at CS154 Harriet Tubman in Harlem, one of the three schools to benefit from the initial $1 million contribution.

Attendees will include:

  • Adrian Benepe, Senior Vice President and Director of City Park Development, The Trust for Public Land
  • Michael Capiraso, President and CEO, New York Road Runners
  • Peter Ciaccia, President of Events, New York Road Runners, and Race Director, TCS New York City Marathon
  • Meb Keflezighi, Olympian, 2009 New York City Marathon winner, and NYRR Team for Kids Ambassador
  • NYRR Mighty Milers from CS 154M

Running icon Meb Keflezighi will host activities with CS154 students who take part in the school’s NYRR Mighty Milers program.
