Harlem Arts Advocacy Week At The Schomburg

The HARLEM Arts Alliance in collaboration with Manhattan Community Boards 9 and 10 presents an Arts Community & Community Board panel discussion on Wednesday October 6, 2010 from 5:30PM to 6:30PM at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. As part of event lineup for HARLEM ARTS ADVOCACY WEEK 2010, the keynote address will be given by Dr. Howard Dodson who has served as Chief of the prestigious branch of New York Public Library’s Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture since 1984.  Noted for his professional devotion and expertise in developing world’s leading repository for materials and artifacts on the global black experience, Dr. Dodson will be stepping down from his post in 2011 after 25 years of service.
