American Apparel Front Turns Heads

Boy how suggestive can the new American Apparel store front get? Well, as you probably know allot worse than he new one they have on 125th Street (between Adam Clayton Powell and St. Nicholas Avenues).

We took this photo right outside the store yesterday of the half clothed model, as heads turned when people were walking on their way to work. We’re not sure if Canadian owner Dov Charney’s formula of soft porn, Gap-like clothes and cheap prices is working in Harlem, but it’s unique. He has to have the only campaign where it’s about taking the clothes off the model, instead on the model. Also, their store fronts are painted with the logo imbedded in the painting, instead of the traditional flashing neon lights or just lights.
