HSA On Sesame Street

Tune in to Sesame Street on PBS Tuesday, September 30th to see “Murray Had a Little Lamb,” a segment focused on a music school that was filmed at HSA with approximately 30 HSA students.  Sesame Street airs at 7 a.m. on WNET Channel 13 or at 9 a.m. on WLIW Channel 21.  Be sure to check your local listings, at www.pbs.org, to confirm the time in your area.

On a recent spring day, The Harlem School of the Arts (HSA) was the answer to the classic inquiry “Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?” Thirty students from the HSA Music Department were hand-picked to participate in an exciting all-day shoot for an entire Sesame Street episode, “Murray Had A Little Lamb,” focused on a Music School.  Continue reading
