5 Top Harlem Christmas Songs (Videos)

We think these holiday videos are a great selection of the best Harlem Christmas songs out there.

Here are our selections:

1.’Christmas In Harlem,’ 2013, by Kanye West

Our numbero uno is Kanye West’s single, ‘Christmas In Harlem,’ dropped just in time for the holidays that year. It featured Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Vado, Cyhi Da Prynce, Pusha-T, Musiq Soulchild, Teyana Taylor, and Big Sean.

2. “Christmas Night In Harlem,” 1930’s, by Louis Armstrong

“Christmas Night In Harlem,” classic by legend Louis Armstrong sings about Christmas in Harlem in the 1930’s. Mr. Armstrong played and sang on a number of Christmas Night In Harlem songs from Dinah Washington, to Benny Carter, this version is the best.

3. “Happy Xmas (War Is Over!)” by John Lennon, Yoko Ono, 1967.

You can feel the fun and community they created in this video by John Lennon, Yoko Ono, and the Plastic Ono Band and the Harlem Community Choir in New York, New York in 1967.

4. “Black Christmas” 1969, by The Harlem Children’s Chorus.

A great funky song by The Harlem Children’s Chorus released in New York, New York in 1969. The album’s complete name was called “Christmas Time with the Harlem Children’s Chorus” on the Commonwealth United Records label.

5. “This Christmas,” by Boys Choir of Harlem and Brian Mcknight.

This Christmas is a beautiful song by the Boys Choir of Harlem and the incredibly talented Brian Mcknight from 1993.
