Join Elsie McCabe Thompson, president of the 200 + plus year old Mission Society in Harlem, as she talks about her mission to improve education standards, Champions for Children Gala 2018, her fave place in Harlem and more, with host Danny Tisdale, on The Danny Tisdale Show.

Elsie McCabe Thompson, is president of the New York City Mission Society in Harlem, the 200+-year-old non-profit that helps children, youth and families in the city’s poorest neighborhoods. Mrs. McCabe Thompson is a former president of the Museum for African Art and served as Chief of Staff under Mayor David Dinkins. She has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit and for-profit corporations. She currently serves on the boards of the National Recreation Foundation, the Trinity School, and the Learning Care Group, Inc. Mrs. McCabe Thompson is also a member of the Steering Committee of the Association for a Better New York (ABNY), the Greater New York Hospital Association’s Diversity Committee, and the Association of Art Museum Directors. She is a graduate of Barnard College and Harvard Law School. She is married to former NYC Comptroller Bill Thompson and has twin daughters.
