The purpose of the Harlem Adult Education Conference is to facilitate the community-based exchange of tools, strategies, and research among adult educators serving Harlemites. Peer-to-peer workshops conducted by Harlem’s outstanding instructors will address timely issues in the field of adult education, including Adult Literacy and Adult Basic Education, the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC) and the Common Core, English as a Second Language, College and Career Readiness, Digital Literacy, and Advocacy.
If you work for, volunteer with, or administer an adult-education program in Harlem, mark your calendar and register today for this groundbreaking opportunity to learn from and with your counterparts serving adult learners throughout our community.
IMPORTANT: Presently, due to limited capacity, the Harlem Adult Education Conference is open only to adult-education instructors, tutors, and administrators serving Harlemites. On Monday, April 7th, any unfilled seats/slots will be released to adult-education instructors serving other NYC communities.
